LIFE OR DEATH DECISIONS

These are the Riverside Police Dispatchers who answer 911 calls.
From left to right are Elva Stroup, Christine Kelsey, Michelle

Jensen, Gail Muench, Tanya Richardson, Sergeant Bryan
Dailey, Steve Powell, and Supervisor Kelley Ubelhor. They all
were honored at City Hall this month. (RPD Sergeant Bryan Dailey,
Communications Bureau Manager, contributed to this story.)

In many occasions, Dispatchers get life threatening phone calls and decisions have to be made in a fraction of seconds. At the time a person calls 911, an Officer who is listening the information could order a patrol unit (s) to show up at the reported location while the conversation between the caller and the Dispatcher is still on.

Dispatchers complain of 911 calls that are not emergencies. One of them told our reporter that she received a phone call from a lady who reported the following, "My cat went outside...I am afraid she could be hit by car. Could you send an officer to get Florinda?"

Another Dispatcher informed The Truth that not too long ago a man called 911 saying, "Do you know what is the right temperature I should set the oven to cook a whole chicken?" Needless to say that those type of calls could delay help for people who really need it, by jamming the line.

Supervisor Ubelhor stated how important is for Dispatchers not to panic when desperate calls are received. "You have to overcome emotions and stay cool to make the right decision," she affirmed. And she shared with the reporter how once she helped a terrified husband to assist his wife, who was giving birth inside their car. "I was so happy to help," she humbly said.

On May 1, 2012, in Riverside and many other cities protesters demonstrated on the streets. They could not be Communists, but, coincidentally, May 1 is the Day celebrated by the International "Red" Workers. Also, this May 1 was the first anniversary that Osama Bin-laden was killed by Navy Blue Seals. In Riverside, despite a scuffle between some protesters and police, no major disturbances were reported. Only two protesters were arrested, for disorderly conduct.

THE ZIMMERMAN-MARTIN CASE IN FLORIDA

...killed a black boy.
Victim of a
racial profile.

We don't understand why the attorney representing the family of the black young boy killed in Sandford, Florida, insists in the matter about the killer repentance before or now.

To us, that doesn't matter. They are crocodile tears anyhow.

What really matter is that George Zimmerman, 28, disobeyed the Police Dispatcher when he was told not to follow Trayvon Martin, 17.

What really matter is that Zimmerman alleges Martin was suspicious. Is it suspicious to walk normally on a sidewalk on the way home, without holding any threatening object?

What really matter is that it was  Zimmerman who confronted Martin, provoking a situation that ended the life of the poor black boy.

A racial profile is obvious in this case. Unfortunately, the south is notorious for its racist roots. We remember how in 1962 the Miami Police and the Jewish people badly treated the Cuban refugees (with honorable exceptions), an unfortunate truth that did not exist in New York and  California.

Historically, blacks in the south have been treated as third class citizens. (Review the U.S. Civil War.) Zimmerman has had previous encounter with the law, for violent behavior against a police officer and a close friend.

Zimmerman followed and confronted Martin because the victim was black. It was a racial execution, regardless the alleged circumstances. Martin saw Zimmerman approaching him, he didn't know who Zimmerman was or what he was up to. He maybe thought Zimmerman was a robber or a sexual predator. Who knows?

We just think how it would have been if Martin had killed Zimmerman (arrested again and charged with a second degree murder.) Lately, he was released from jail again in lieu of a $1,000,000.

We reject the ad about traveling to Communist Cuba, imposed in our blog by Blogger without our authorization. Traveling to the Island helps the tyranny with dollars. Besides, tourists have been assaulted and ripped off on the broken streets of Havana and other cities. But Ozzie Guillen loves it...

ANIMAL CRUELTY

The Dogs Association of the United States has filed a lawsuit for “Animal Cruelty” against presidential candidate Mitt Romney, for the cruel treatment he inflicted to his dog Seamus.

Defendant Romney has said before going to court he will use a “status of limitation” defense because the incident happened in 1983.

Romney was driving his car for 12 hours up to Canada, with Seamus strapped to the roof. After some time, his son noticed a “brown liquid” dropping down the back window. Revenge? Under terror? Imagine how much this poor canine suffered for so long.

At arrival to Canada, Seamus got loose and run away in panic, but it was found hours later hidden under a tree.

Could anybody so cruel and irresponsible be the President of the United States?

We don't think so.

The Truth Publication Online doesn't ask for advertisements, but those who want to advertise with us, they are welcomed. Only Communists don't have space in our pages. This note could shut up those invidious individuals who walk on the streets of Riverside defaming people and publications. Thanks to Steve Adams and Mike Gardner and other dozens of advertisers for their patronage.

We regret the ad about traveling to Communist Cuba, imposed by Blogger in our publication without our authorization. Visiting the Island is helping the Castro's tyranny with dollars. Very dangerous too. Crime against tourists is high.
